Mike Fielding is a globally recognised movement expert with over 25 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, elite sport rehab, and performance optimisation.

Known for his precision, depth of knowledge, and international reputation as an educator, Mike brings a rare combination of clinical excellence and lived athletic performance.

  • Mike’s qualifications are extensive and continually evolving. After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 1998, he’s completed postgraduate training in acupuncture, fascia release, METs, spinal manipulation, Kinetic Link Training (KLT), and Kinetic Control for movement dysfunction. He holds full certification in Pilates Matwork and Equipment and a Certificate IV in Personal Training.

    His integrated approach combines physiotherapy with functional strength training, breathwork, and movement retraining, bridging the gap between injury recovery and high-level performance.

    As a Lead Course Educator with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI), Mike has taught thousands of clinicians across the UK, Ireland, Brazil, New Zealand, and Australia. His teaching style is practical, movement-based, and built on decades of clinical application.

    After completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science, his interest in performance led him into teaching and research at Griffith University, where he delivered content in Injury Management, Exercise Prescription, Sports Coaching, and conducted research on hamstring strain prevention with the Gold Coast Titans. He later completed a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University, where he strengthened his evidence based framework for clinical decision making, and conducted original research profiling the fitness demands of specialist police units with QLD Police.

    Professionally, Zain has worked across both elite sport and personal injury. In sport, he has supported SwimAUS, Southport Sharks, QLD Sundevils, QLD Basketball, and Bond AFL and Netball. In personal injury, he worked as an Injury Management Advisor for Suncorp Insurance, guiding clients through recovery with clarity and care.

    Outside the clinic, Zain enjoys staying active, building LEGO, and exploring nature and camping with his dogs, Odin and Hela.
