Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic from Murdoch University in Perth. Having competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, she brings firsthand experience in high-performance sport and a deep understanding of movement and injury management.

  • Originally from the small island of Mauritius, Julie combines her academic background with her experience as a professional athlete to help you move and feel your best. She has a special interest in women’s health, including chiropractic care during pregnancy, as well as paediatric care for conditions such as scoliosis. Whether you’re an elite athlete, a weekend warrior, navigating pregnancy, or supporting your child’s development, Julie is dedicated to providing care that supports long-term health and well-being.

A former NCAA volleyball player at Penn State University, Victoria understands firsthand the physical and mental demands of high-level sport.

  • She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Movement Science, followed by a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University - combining her practical knowledge with an evidence-based, movement-led approach to care. Her clinical experience is as impressive as her academic record.

    Victoria has worked with some of the most physically demanding sports and environments - from Super Rugby’s Western Force and Bond University Rugby Club to the Ballina Bombers AFL and the World Surf League’s Gold Coast Pro.

    These roles have sharpened her expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation for athletes and active individuals alike. Now at The Good Joint, Victoria brings this high-performance mindset to every client she works with.

Meet Dr Tegan Lissington, our passionate and skilled Osteopath. She is recognised for her holistic approach, clinical insight, and thoughtful patient-centred care. Combining her broad knowledge base with an empathetic and nurturing manner, Tegan helps patients move with confidence, reduce pain, and achieve meaningful, long-term improvements in their health.

  • Dr Tegan holds a double degree in a Bachelor of Health Science/Applied Science (Osteopathy), bringing together a strong academic foundation with years of hands-on clinical experience.

    Before becoming an Osteopath, Tegan spent several years working as a Remedial Massage Therapist, where she refined her manual therapy skills and developed a deep understanding of the body’s functional patterns. Tegan also has extensive experience teaching Pilates, giving her a unique ability to integrate rehabilitation, movement education, and body awareness into her treatment plans. This blend of skills allows her to support patients through both hands-on techniques and tailored rehabilitation.

Elsa Thomson is a senior Myotherapist and remedial massage therapist with a decade of clinical experience, recognised for her precise technique, clinical depth, and results-driven treatment. With a strong foundation in both manual therapy and movement-based rehabilitation.

  • Extensively trained in remedial massage, Elsa blends deep tissue therapy with advanced myotherapy techniques to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Meet Jo, our generally registered psychologist at The Good Joint. With a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Public Health, Jo brings extensive expertise in mental health systems and health promotion.

  • Jo utilises a range of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic approaches, family systems therapy, and positive psychology. Her comprehensive background allows her to adapt her methods to suit individual needs while maintaining a strong focus on promoting overall well-being.

    Jo’s primary interests include high-performance and sports psychology, as well as concerns surrounding eating disorders, body image, and anxiety. However, she also has significant experience in:
