What happens during an acupuncture session?
Your initial consultation focuses on understanding the bigger picture, including your health history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors. From there, a personalised treatment plan is created, which may include acupuncture, cupping therapy, Chinese remedial massage (Tui Na), Chinese herbal medicine formulas, and lifestyle advice.
How long are acupuncture appointments?
Initial acupuncture consultations run for 60 minutes to allow time for assessment and treatment. Follow-up appointments are typically 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your treatment plan.

Are acupuncture appointments covered by DVA or WorkCover?
At this time, acupuncture is not covered under DVA or WorkCover. Some clients still choose to attend privately as part of their overall care plan, and we are happy to work alongside your GP or medical specialists where appropriate.
