Jo's story

Psychology inside a physical health clinic

Working within Good Joint means Jo sees how closely the mind and body are linked. Pain, injury, performance pressure and stress often affect each other, and many people find it helpful to have psychological support in the same place as their physical care.

Jo's background in public health gives her a broad view of mental health and wellbeing. She adapts her approach to each person, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies.

She aims to help clients build resilience, work towards their goals and improve their quality of life, in a supportive, non-judgemental setting.
