Meet Anthony
About Anthony Harder
Anthony is our Senior Remedial Massage Therapist, with more than a decade of experience helping people overcome pain, restore movement and perform at their best.
His approach combines hands-on therapy with corrective movement and personalised rehabilitation, aiming to find and treat the cause of a problem, not only the symptoms.
Anthony's story
A strength coach who works with his hands
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta in Canada and has worked as a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach across high school, state and collegiate sport.
Over more than ten years in private practice he has worked with everyone from everyday people to high-performing athletes in athletics, American football, rugby, ice hockey, volleyball, basketball, soccer and skiing.
That mix of coaching and hands-on therapy is what makes his sessions different. He wants to know how you move, not only where it hurts.

Questions
Seeing Anthony: common questions
Is this a relaxation massage?
No. Remedial massage is a treatment session focused on a specific problem. It can be firm in places, and Anthony will adjust the pressure to suit you.
Will I get exercises?
Usually. Corrective movement is a big part of Anthony's work, so most people leave with a few exercises to keep the benefits going.
Can I claim on private health insurance?
Yes, if your extras cover includes remedial massage. We claim on the spot in the clinic, so you only pay the gap. Your rebate depends on your fund and level of cover.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly online or by calling 07 5651 6594. If you have scans, reports or a GP letter, bring them along.
Where is the clinic and when is it open?
Good Joint is at 2563 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach, a short drive from Broadbeach, Miami and Burleigh Heads. We are open Monday to Friday, 7:15am to 6:30pm.
