Questions
Seeing Ricky: common questions
What is myoskeletal alignment?
It is a hands-on approach that combines soft tissue work with techniques to improve how muscles and joints sit and move together, often used for neck, back and shoulder pain.
Does Ricky only see athletes?
No. Ricky sees everyday clients as well as athletes. The same principles apply whether you want to train harder or just move without pain.
Can I claim on private health insurance?
Yes, if your extras cover includes remedial massage. We claim on the spot in the clinic, so you only pay the gap. Your rebate depends on your fund and level of cover.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly online or by calling 07 5651 6594. If you have scans, reports or a GP letter, bring them along.
Where is the clinic and when is it open?
Good Joint is at 2563 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach, a short drive from Broadbeach, Miami and Burleigh Heads. We are open Monday to Friday, 7:15am to 6:30pm.
